Standard Cancellation and Refund Timetable
Over 72 Hours Before Charter
Qualified for: Full refund except for service fees
Processing Duration: 5-7 working days
Service Charge: €50 for credit card dealings
Stipulations: Must be submitted officially through email or telephone contact
Between 24 and 72 Hours Before Charter
Qualified for: Half of the total yacht rental cost
Processing Duration: 7-10 working days
Service Charge: €25 subtraction from the refund amount
Stipulations: A legitimate reason must be provided; administrative charges will be incurred
Under 24 Hours Prior to Charter
Qualified for: Refunds are not available
Exception: Situations of urgency may be considered for refund
Option: A credit for future charters may be provided at the discretion of the management
Stipulations: Proof is required for claims of emergencies
Refunds Due to Adverse Weather
Our Weather Assurance
Your safety is paramount. If the weather is judged as unsafe for sailing by our certified captain, we provide adaptable choices:
- Full Refund: A complete refund if it's not feasible to rebook
- Rebooking: Move your yacht rental to the next possible date without any additional cost
- Rental Credit: A voucher valid for one year from the original booking date
Procedure for Weather Evaluation
Our weather check consists of:
- Examination of wind velocities and directions
- Analysis of sea conditions and wave frequencies
- Predictions of visibility and rain likelihood
- Warnings and guidance from marine authorities
- Assessment of sailing conditions by our expert captain
Final Decisions: Decisions regarding weather-induced cancellations are made at least 4 hours before the yacht's scheduled departure.
Refunds for Medical Urgencies
Qualifying Emergency Cases
We acknowledge that health crises may arise unexpectedly. Special consideration may be available for situations such as:
- Sudden health decline or injury that necessitates hospital admission
- A family bereavement
- Urgent military reassignment or deployment
- Legal duties like jury service or court orders
- Environmental disasters that impact your travel arrangements
Required Proof
For claims regarding medical emergencies, the following evidence is required:
- A healthcare certificate or proof of hospitalization
- Mortality documentation, if relevant
- Directed military instructions
- Legal invitations or notices for court appearances
- Governmental travel cautions or declarations of emergency
Refund Procedure: Refunds for emergencies are dealt with within 3-5 business days once appropriate proof is provided.
Cancellations by the Company
Issues Relating to the Yacht
If the yacht assigned to you cannot be operated due to mechanical problems:
- Alternative Vessel: We will strive to offer a yacht of similar standards
- Complete Refund: Should a suitable replacement yacht not be available
- Partial Refund: If the alternative yacht is differently priced
- Remuneration: We may offer additional compensation for the hassle caused
Unavailable Crew
In the uncommon event that the licensed crew is unavailable:
- Substitute crew members will be arranged if feasible
- A full refund is provided when the charter cannot proceed
- Rescheduling to a new date without extra charge
Procedure for Refund Disbursement
Mode of Reimbursement
Your refunds will be remitted using the initial payment method chosen for the booking:
- Credit Cards: Usually within 5 to 7 business days
- Direct Bank Transactions: Approximately 7 to 10 business days
- Cash/Cheque: Typically 3 to 5 business days
Fees for Processing
Credit Card Transactions
A €50 fee applies to cancellations conducted more than 72 hours before the reservation
Bank Transfer Operations
A €25 charge is applied to all bank transfer refunds
International Transactions
Additional charges may be levied for cross-border transactions
Charter Credits
Cases for Issuing Credits
Rental credits can sometimes be an option instead of a refund under particular conditions:
- Late cancellation less than 24 hours prior
- Cancellations related to weather
- Client-initiated changes to schedule
- Service disruptions
Conditions Attached to Credits
- Time Frame: Valid for 12 months post-issue
- Non-transferable: Cannot be transferred to others
- Worth: Equal to the total value of the rental, no service fees deducted
- Utilization: Applicable to any available yacht services
- Non-extendable: Cannot be extended beyond the 12-month period
Reimbursements for Partial Services
Interruptions During Services
If your yacht rental experience is interrupted or cut short because of reasons we are accountable for:
- Calculated refund based on the time not utilized
- Credit equivalent to a future rental for the identical value
- Complimentary services or enhanced options may be offered
Terminations Due to Guests
If a charter is concluded prematurely due to client misbehavior or safety missteps:
- No reimbursement for the unused portion
- The entire fee remains payable
- Add-on fees may be enacted
Settling Refund Disagreements
If the resolution of a refund dispute is not to your satisfaction, you are eligible to:
- Ask for a reassessment by our management
- Present supplemental information or proof
- Request aid from consumer protection groups
- Explore legal actions according to the governing laws

Our customer service will acknowledge receipt of your request within a day, assess it as per these stipulations, and make a decision within two days. Approved refunds will then be processed as per indicated time frames.
Crucial Points to Remember
- All claims for refunds must be submitted in written form
- All refunds will be disbursed in €, no matter the currency used for the initial payment
- Acquiring travel insurance is highly suggested
- This policy is subject to amendments, given 30 days notice
- Refunds are subject to prevailing taxes and guidelines
